Mechanical teeth whitening
Mechanical whitening of enamel is the gentlest. It is performed using special attachments and a solution applied to the teeth under strong pressure. The dentist thoroughly cleans each tooth, and plaque and tartar are completely removed from the enamel. This cleaning cannot be done just with a simple toothbrush. Thanks to this deep cleaning, teeth become 2-3 tones brighter.
Chemical bleaching
This method is based on a gel with a high concentration of bleaching acids. The procedure is performed in the clinic or the patient receives a set of individual trays and a gel with a lower concentration for home use. In both cases, the bleaching is done under the strict supervision of an aesthetician-dentist. Chemical whitening is considered a gentle method for the teeth, it brightens the enamel by 5-7 tones. Not recommended if you already have polymer fillings, crowns or facings.
Photobleaching
Photobleaching is performed using a gel containing hydrogen peroxide and a laser or ultraviolet light. After hygienic cleaning, a bleaching gel is applied to the teeth, which is activated by halogen or LED radiation. The procedure takes 15-30 minutes. Next, the doctor applies a strengthening fluoride agent to the enamel to reduce tooth sensitivity. In this way, teeth can be made 8-10 tones whiter.
